Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
Equipment includes but not limited to Excavator, Bull Dozers, Front End Loaders, End Dumps and Rollers.
Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment.
Observing stipulated safety codes at all times.
Communicating with coworkers to elucidate project specifications, as needed.
Reporting injuries and other accidents to the project manager.
Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.
Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
Experience with GPS systems a plus.
Capacity to provide and follow direction.
Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
Ability to work extended hours, as required.

The Equipment Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by the organization.
Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and shop facilities department.
Conducts performance evaluations of staff that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and shop facilities.
Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business.
Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
Ability to maintain records, warranties and invoices.
Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
Experience managing the company’s type of facilities, and equipment
Fabrication experience preferred
Certification experience preferred
5 years of Manager experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.

Residential Grading Foreman monitors and supervises the excavation phase of a construction project. Ensures the job completes on schedule and in accordance with the set specifications by:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performing semi-skilled grade work laborer duties including raking, smoothing, and tamping relating to mass and fine grading
Supervises grading crews operating earthwork equipment, including operators operating mini excavators and skid loaders
Receive and prioritize daily work assignments and makes crew work assignments
Observe work in progress and provides guidance and direction on work procedures and techniques to operators and laborers
Check grades using a level and grade rod or laser level
Informs General Superintendent of performance or operational problems at work sites
Ensures safe work procedures and safe work practices are followed at work sites
Ensures barricades and other safety equipment are set up and in place while work is in progress
Shop Foreman will oversee and coordinate various projects ensuring schedules are followed. Supervises contractors and subcontractors to ensure that work meets standards and adheres to specifications.
